Lots of Beach Time

Today was in the 90s and beautiful! We here in CA could not have asked for a more perfect day!

I started off my day with a 17.5 mile, round trip bike ride with a friend of mine. We enjoyed a nice ride down along the coast, taking in the sights and sun. It was a lot of fun and we had a great time chatting along the ride.

Then, after picking up both boys from school, we met up with a group of friends down at the beach. The weather at 4:00pm was still perfect! I love where I live!

So here are some pictures from our beach time:

Stallion Springs

The weekend started in April and is now coming to an end in May. Wow, time is flying by so fast!

We just spent our weekend up at Daniel's parents house. My Mother-in-law just celebrated her birthday, so we all drove up to visit and celebrate it with her. A nice surprise what that Daniel's brother Jeff, and his family, made the drive as well. It was a very nice, and relaxing weekend. All the kids had a blast! I especially love when the cousins get together because they all get along so well. The visit was short, but sweet, and everyone had a great time!

So here are some pictures that I took while up there:

My nephew and niece:
Isn't my niece a cutie?!

The cousins again:

Finally, a shot of my handsome, big guy!
Here are some wild flowers that I found:

It was very chilly there in the morning, and I found this Poppy with what looks like its arms wrapped around it to keep it warm.

Flower Shots

I'm going to make this post, short and sweet. These are pictures from my patio. No patio make-over shots yet, but we are so close to completion, so they will be here soon. For now, enjoy the sights on my patio!

We picked this new succulent for our shelf.

Another colorful succulent for our shelf.
This is on my patio table.
I was messing around here! I took a succulent and put it under my table.
